Fenomena Kecanduan Syair: Analisis Spiritualitas pada Pendengar Syair KHR. Muhammad Kholil As’ad Situbondo

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method that aims to explore the phenomenon of addiction to KHR Kholil As'ad poetry in listeners in several Islamic boarding schools in East Java. Data collected from interviews and observations were then analyzed using thematic analysis method. This approach was used to identify the main themes that emerged in relation to the spiritual experiences of the listeners. Through this research, it can be understood that KHR Kholil As'ad poetry not only functions as a medium for da'wah or entertainment, but as an effective means to deepen spiritual understanding and strengthen the relationship between people and God. The emotional attachment experienced by listeners to KHR Kholil As'ad poetry is built on the spiritual power contained in every word and stanza delivered. Listeners feel as if they are being guided to contemplate the meaning of life, deepen their understanding of religion, and improve their relationship with God. In addition, many of them feel compelled to improve their discipline in worship, become more patient in facing life's trials, and more sincere in their charitable giving. In addition to the personal impact experienced by listeners, KHR Kholil As'ad poetry also plays a role in strengthening social relations within the community.
